THE
HUB
Equipping everyone for ministry
Welcome to The Hub, an initiative helping every member of our church to grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
The Hub allows each person to pick a subject that will help them. There are opportunities to take first steps in the Christian faith; to learn new skills and ministries; to deepen in understanding and confidence in Jesus Christ.
- We will meet every Thursday evening in term time.
- We will be at St Michael's Church from 7.30pm–9.00pm
This term the options are:
FROM SEPTEMBER 26th
FROM NOVEMBER 14th
CHRISTIANITY EXPLORED (PART 1)
An informal, accessible look at the life and claims of Jesus, for those who want to ask questions and work out what they think about the Christian faith.
CHRISTIANITY EXPLORED (PART 2)
The second part of the course, continuing to explore the book of Mark.
THE STICK OF ROCK
Come and learn about our church’s purpose, vision and values, the things that define what we are about as a church.
WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT?
Who is the Holy Spirit? Why does he matter? What is he doing today? These and many other questions answered.
A MEAL WITH JESUS
A group looking at a very helpful book by Tim Chester, urging us to think about our life together, the way we welcome strangers and how hospitality grows a church.
ADVENT AND THE RETURN OF JESUS
A reflective Bible study, focussing on the season of Advent and the future it points to.
NOVEMBER 7th
An opportunity for the whole church to talk about our priorities in response to Julia Oxley’s legacy.
