DOMINION

With extraordinary encounters with strange beasts, dreams, visions, the fiery furnace and the writing on the wall, the book of Daniel is full of action as the thrones of men collide with the reign of God. Empires rise, dynasties fall. Over all the noise and drama however, we see the sovereign hand of God, faithfully intervening for his people and ordering history towards the kingdom of the Rock, the enduring reign of the Son of Man, Jesus himself.
The message of Daniel brings us a settled confidence when our world feels foreboding and uncertain – our God is Lord of history, we can rest assured in Him and stand firm.
