Barnston is near Heswall, Wirral. It is a couple of miles from the M53 Junction 4 (Clatterbridge junction). Heswall Hills railway station is in the parish, but a tidy step from the office. There are occasional buses direct to Barnston from Liverpool. There are numerous buses from Liverpool to Pensby. From Pensby to Barnston is about fifteen minutes' walk.
