Sunday
6.30 pm
Joint service: 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month in Barnston; 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month in Pensby. The 1st and 4th Sundays are Holy Communion services; the others are Evening Prayer (complicated, isn't it?).
The style of worship is traditional, with hymns played on the organ and singing led by the choir. The sermon takes a Bible passage and goes into detail, explaining it and applying it to life. Sometimes, informal discussion of the sermon topic follows the service. Refreshments are served at the back of church after the service, which lasts about 80 minutes.

Wednesday
1030 am
The midweek service of Holy Communion. Most of the congregation - around 15-20 members most weeks - are unable to attend Church on Sundays. The service is from Common Worship, lasts around an hour and includes hymns. Refreshments follow, and an opportunity to get to know this little community.

Fourth Tuesday
of the month

3.30 - 5.30pm
Messy Church

... our congregation for school-age children with a parent or carer. Messy Church meets in the Church Hall at Pensby, starting straight after school. There are games when you first arrive, then craft activities and a short time of worship. We finish with a sit-down meal together.
